Every leader has their own inherent leadership style – that is, the way in which they naturally lead on a subconscious level. And each employee has a preferred style with which they like to be led and which brings out the best in them. The challenge is that leadership styles and employee preferences don’t always naturally align, in turn inhibiting working relationships between some leaders and team members from reaching their full potential.

With the Situational Leadership Styles training and development program, you will develop a deeper understanding of your own inherent leadership style as well as gain greater insight into the ways in which your team members prefer to be led. In doing so, you will be able to become an even more effective leader by learning to adapt your leadership style in order to help bring out the best in your team members.

The Situational Leadership Styles program examines each leader based on four distinct styles – Director, Supporter, Coach, and Delegator – and will help identify your inherent balance. Then, the program will examine how your team members preferred to be led in relation to these four styles. Finally, you will learn to determine which style is most appropriate for specific team members, tasks, and skills, and how you can apply these learnings in real-world scenarios.

Where the event takes place is totally up to you – most of our groups prefer to run it in an indoor venue like a large meeting space, ballroom, or office.

We typically require access to your venue for one hour for set up before the event begins, and then four hours with your group for the activity, although this is totally flexible.

And like nearly all of our team building activities, this event is completely scalable for groups of any size.
